Bringing the Car Theft Epidemic to Life – Graphics for Channel 4's Dispatches
We were recently commissioned by LionTV for Channel 4’s Dispatches to develop the titles and animated graphics for their hard-hitting investigation into the car theft epidemic sweeping the UK.
Our brief was to visualise the journey of a stolen vehicle – from the streets of North London, through to a remote farm in Essex, and ultimately all the way to a yard in Kaunas, Lithuania. The result: a series of dynamic, animated sequences that helped piece together the complex international network behind these crimes.
Working closely with producer and director Charlie Mole, we designed and delivered eight animated graphics that helped drive the story forward. Alongside editor Rory Murphy, we navigated a tight turnaround to produce a broadcast-ready graphics package for both Channel 4’s TV airing and their digital platforms, including YouTube and Channel 4 On Demand.
